Kathmandu, 5 October: Today is the 10th day of the Dasain Festival known as Vijaya Dashami. After concluding the Durga Pooja that was performed for nine days, devotees start offering and receiving Tika from today until the full moon day on 9 October. After 9 October midnight, the Dasain festival will be over.
Senior members in the family will offer tika to the juniors.
The auspicious time to start Tika is 11.55 am today, according to the Panchanga Deciding Committee
