Maoists agree on 44 seats, Madhav Nepal walks out in protest

Kathmandu, 30 September: The CPN (Maoist Center)  has agreed on 44 seats for the November 20 elections of House of Representatives. According to a top leader of  the ruling coalition, it has been agreed that  Nepali Congress will take 87 seats while CPN (US) would get 16 seats.

However, Madhav Kumar Nepal, President CPN (US)  walked out in protest  in the middle of the meeting. “It may be that  he was not satisfied with the seat allocation. Nepali ji got up and left in the middle of the meeting . Everything will be decided  by today,” said the leader.
