Kathmandu, 30 August: The government has decided to approve a total of 663 temporary posts for different projects and programmes under various ministries.
A meeting of the Cabinet held on August 29 took a decision to this effect for the current fiscal year. In a news conference today, Minister for Communications and Information Technology and Spokesperson of the Government of Nepal, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, informed that temporary posts of different services, groups, sub-groups and categories have been approved to take forward the project works undertaken by various ministries. The decision was made not for new appointment adding that officials’ management would be ensured from the existing permanent officials.
