Kathmandu, 4 August: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, a year later, assuming the executive post has appointed his foreign affairs adviser. Arunkumar Subedi, a writer who is also known as a water resource expert, has appointed as the Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Advisor by the Cabinet held this afternoon. Subedi, who was involved in various projects, was not active in Nepali Congress politics. Interestingly, Subedi, who had been consistently advocating that Nepal should give up its non-aligned foreign policy, has been appointed as the Prime Minister’s foreign affairs advisor.
