Kathmandu, 2 August: A father has died due to the beating of his son in Tehrathum. Fifty-three-year-old Bhakta Bahadur Bhandari of Chhathar Rural Municipality-5 Thakuri of the district has died due to beating. This morning Bhandari was hit on the head using a thresher ( a hammer- like wooden shaft )by his own son Tanka.
Bhandari, who was seriously injured, was rushed to Chhathar Hospital for treatment by the neighbors and the police team deployed from the nearby Police Post. But Bhandari died during the treatment, District Police Office Tehrathum said. The office said that the search for the absconding son was underway. According to the police, the son attacked the father during a domestic dispute.
