Kathmandu, 2 August: Though various countries have been providing scholarships to Nepali students from undergraduate to Master’s level through Nepal government, it has been found that the highest number of students were provided scholarship by the Government of Pakistan in the last five years.
According to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, 63 Nepali students have gone to study MBBS in Pakistan on scholarship. Students have gone to study on scholarship in China, Egypt, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Russia as well. After Pakistan, the number of students going to China on scholarship is more. Forty-two students went to China to study medicine and engineering in 2018.
