Kathmandu, 31 July: People are dying every day due to corona virus infection. With the addition of two people on Saturday, the number of deaths due to Corona has reached 12 in a week. Fourteen people have died since July 17.
Corona infection rate is also increasing. The infection rate increased from 8.92 percent on July 25 to 14.12 percent on July 29 and 11.84 on July 30. Experts say that the number of infections and deaths will increase in the next few weeks. A total of 33 people are undergoing treatment in ICU and four others in ventilators across the country.
Twelve of the 14 people who died due to corona infection were not vaccinated. Out of the two vaccinated people, 1 person took one dose and was suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure, while another 75-year-old man had health problems including cancer, asthma, and high blood pressure despite receiving the full dose, according to reports.
