Ruling party obstructs everywhere to save Sharma

Kathmandu, 26 July: Due to non-cooperation from ruling party parliamentarians to government agencies in the investigation on former Finance Minister Janardan Sharma for tweaking budget through unauthorized persons, the chances of reaching the depth and coming to a conclusion are decreasing. Even after spending four days out of the 10 days initially given and the 7 days that were added later, the probe committee has not been able to decide on a solid opinion on the subject.

“MPs and government agencies are obstructing the investigation step by step with plans to save Sharma. The parliamentarians of the ruling party do not want to hear about the technical and effective measures that can be taken to find the truth, a member of probe committee is quoted as saying.
