Kathmandu, 16 July: Home Minister Balkrishna Khand has said that there is no possibility of the Maoists contesting elections alone.
If the NC will not continue the present electoral alliance, the Maoists will seek another partner, said Minister Khand informing about the necessity for an electoral alliance in the upcoming elections at the Nepali Congress central committee meeting.
He said that to stop the Maoists from developing alliances with other parties, the present five-party alliance should be continued.
