Prime Minister Share Bahadur Deuba returned home recently after a week-long official goodwill visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Peng.
While on the last leg of this visit in China, the Prime Minister told the accompanying journalist that his visit had been “successful and fruitful”.
Similarly, upon return to Kathmandu, he maintained that his China sojourn had not only been “very successful” but even more “fruitful” than the trip of former Prime Minister Mon Mohan Adhikari of the UML who visited China as an official guest of the Chinese Premier almost exactly a year ago.
