Kathmandu, 9 July: A meeting of the Judicial Council on Friday decided to expel Judge serving at Butwal Bench of High Court Tulsipur, Renuka Saha. The meeting presided over by Acting Chief Justice Deepak Kumar Karki decided to expel Judge Saha.
Judge Saha was relieved of the post for not meeting qualifications. Renuka, daughter of former chief justice Ramkumar Prasad Saha, had long been serving at Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and she was not qualified to become Judge, the Council said.
