Kathmandu, 5 July: A team of Armed Police Force (APF) has recovered Rs. 8.3 million from potato sacks being broght via Inarwa, Janakandani Rural Municipality-1 of Dhanusha district adjenct to Nepal- India border on Tuesday.
According to the APF news dispatch, 19-year-old Rajesh Mandal and 36-year-old Ishwar Mandal of Janakandani Rural Municipality -5 have been arrested for bringing undisclosed amount of money in the sack along with potatoes on a motorcycle. The arrested duo and the recovered cash have been handed over to the Janakpur Customs Office for further investigation.
