President appoints three ministers, swearing-in ceremony this evening

Kathmandu, 4 July: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has reshuffled the cabinet by appointing three new ministers under the recommendation of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. 

Mohamad Istiyak Rai is assigned as the minister for Physical Infrastructure, Mrigendrakumar Singh as the minister for Agriculture and Livestock, and Pradip Yadav as the minister for Forest. All three ministers are from the Janata Samajwadi Party. Rajendra Shrestha, another minister from the party will continue in the government, whereas, the other three ministers from the party, Renu Yadav, Mahendra Raya Yadav and Ramshahaya Yadav have been recalled by the JSP. 

The new ministers are taking the oath of office by this evening, said a source.
