Kathmandu, 3 July: Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal has proposed to form a front of parties, forces and individuals with a socialist line. In a political report presented at a meeting of the party’s central committee on Sunday, Dahal said he would pursue a policy of defending the constitution, completing the peace process and allying with the consensus forces on democracy, including federalism.
“The immediate formation of a front of parties, forces and personalities pursuing a socialist line of action is the need of the hour.Socialism with Nepali characteristics, its tactical chain, and the formation of revolutionary forces should be openly discussed and debated through the socialist front,” Dahal has stated in the report.
