Kathmandu, 2 July: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Jeevan Ram Shrestha has expressed commitment to move ahead with the Nijgadh International Airport, a national pride project, by prioritising its construction.
He said this while addressing those staging a relay strike from Nijgadh Public Concerned Committee and Nijgadh Independent Youth Students. The 24-day fast was broken after the Supreme Court made public the full text of Nijgadh Airport on Wednesday
The Supreme Court had ordered to overturn all the decisions taken by the government regarding the construction of the airport in Nijgadh. A month after the order was issued, the full text was made public on Wednesday paving the way for the construction of the airport in Nijgadh.
