Fifty-five more contract coronavirus

Kathmandu, 30 June: The Ministry of Health and Population has recorded 55 more cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The new cases were recorded after the sample test conducted among 2,698 persons. Out of the total tests, PCR was conducted among 1,532 persons while 1,166 persons underwent antigen tests. In the same period, 17 persons got rid of coronavirus.

Currently, the recovery rate stands at 98.8 percent, according to the Ministry. Meanwhile, 316,477 persons have been vaccinated against coronavirus. There are 280 active cases of coronavirus now. The number of people losing lives to the fatal virus has reached 11,952.
