Kathmandu, 28 June: A son in Madi Municipality-6 of Chitwan has killed his mother with a sharp weapon. Arjun Tamang, 36, of Syaulibas killed his mother Mayadevi Tamang, 55, Monday afternoon, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan. Mayadevi was attacked with sharp weapon while working in the maize field from behind. The reason behind the heinous crime is yet to be known. Police have arrested Arjun and investigation into the incident has been started.
