Kathmandu, 16 June: Nepal Police have seized a large quantity of gray and white heroin from Thamel area of Kathmandu. Police on Thursday seized 51 kg of heroin from seven African women who had come to Kathmandu from South Africa on a Fly Dubai flight.
Police said that 49 kg of white and 2 kg of gray heroin was recovered from them. The value of the seized drugs is around Rs 1.2 billion. Police, organizing a press conference this afternoon made public the arrested women and the seized drugs.
