Indians have captured Nepali territory in east Nepal also

Kathmandu, 14 May: Indians, constructing link road by capturing Nepali territory in Lipulekh, far west Nepal, have also captured Nepali territory in Panchthar district, east Nepal.

In Phalelung Rural Municipality, bordered with India in Panchthar district, the Indian border security force, SSB, has captured Nepali territory, reports Annapurna Post daily.

The Indian occupied territory is bordered with Phalelung, Sandakpur in Ilam and West Bengal in India.

Jeevan Rai, spokesman of the Phalelung municipality said that the Indian SSB has captured Nepali territory.

“We talked to the SSB, however, it was beyond our capability to return our territory,” he said.

The Indian SSB has captured around 400 meters of Nepali territory from the existing birder pillars. There are three border pillars and one Junge pillar demarking the international border, however, the Indians have removed two border pillars and encroached Nepali territory.
