Writ filed demanding to return Lipulek

Kathmandu, 12 May : A writ petition has been filed at the Supreme Court, demanding to return back Lipulek, the Nepali territory which has been encroached by India to construct a road. 
Lawyers Lokendra Oli, Dipendra Adhikary and Keshar Jung KC, filed the writ on Monday naming the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Home Ministry, Defence Ministry, Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Land Management and Cooperatives as defendants.
The writ demands a mandamus order in the name of government to take its land back immediately by holding diplomatic talks. India has constructed the road to Mansorovar in China via Nepali territory—Lipulek.
