Kathmandu, 31 January : The government has extended the tenure of Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and Commission for Investigation of Enforced Disappeared Persons (CIEDP) by one more year.The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on 27 January took this decision as the term of the two commissions was expiring from mid-April.

Likewise, the government decided to form a 7-member talks team under the lead role of Joint Secretary of the International Economic Assistance Coordination Division of the Finance Ministry to hold talks for accepting 50 million US dollar from the World Bank Group for the climate change and disaster risk mitigation.
