Kathmandu, 27 January: Newly elected Speaker Agni Sapkota has assumed office today after taking oath of office from President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

This morning, the President had administered oath of office amidst a function at Sittal Niwas. After the ceremony, Speaker Sapkota went to Singhadurwar to assume office.
