Kathmandu, 9 December: Noted journalist from Biratnagar and treasurer of the Editors’ Society of Nepal (ESON) passed away Sunday morning at his home in Biratnagar.
Of late, he was staying in Kathmandu. He had gone to Biratnagar on Saturday, 7 December due to his personal works. He was found dead in suspicious circumstances on Sunday morning, the next day he had reached Biratnagar.
An emergency meeting chaired by ESON chairman Puru Rishal has drawn attention on reports related to Dahal’s death. The meeting has asked the government to investigate on the incident and make public the reason behind his death.
The meeting has also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and extended heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
