Kathmandu, 2 December :Nepal has made a victorious start in the women cricket held today under the 13th South Asian Games. The inauguration match under the Games was played at the cricket ground in Pokhara Stadium, according to National Sports Council.
Hosts Nepal pulled a huge 10 wickets win in the match against the Maldives. Maldives which won the toss and elected to bat first was contained by Nepal in mere 16 runs in 10.1 overs. Maldives lost their first wicket in seven runs followed by the second and third ones at 11 runs and the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh in 15 runs, and the remaining one in 16 runs.
