Kathmandu, 16 November: Expressing concern over shrinking public space due to growing encroachment of public land in the Kathmandu Valley, the domiciles of the valley have joined the demonstration again today in the continuum and solidarity of the public campaign named ‘Occupy Tundikhel’.
The campaign was launched last Saturday to exert pressure on the government to free up the encroached space of Tundikhel located at the heart of the capital. In a bid to extend the message of ‘Love the nature’, sapling plantation too was carried out today as a part of the campaign where some 300 saplings were planted.
