Kathmandu, 1 November: Former speaker Krishnabahadur Mahara will remain under the police custody until coming Sunday.
Mahara gave statement today at the Kathmandu District Court. However, on the issue of his release, the advocates are going to plead on Sunday only. Therefore, Mahara will remain under the police custody at least until Sunday.
Mahara has denied on his involvement in the alleged rape case.
