PM Oli undergoes kidney dialysis treatment

Kathmandu, 31 October: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli underwent kidney dialysis treatment at the Grande Hospital in Tokha yesterday evening.

The Hospital management, however, has denied to disclose about PM Oli’s health. Nevertheless, today’s newspapers, quoting Hospital sources, have confirmed the report about dialysis.

Now, there left two options for PM Oli – either remain on regular dialysis or undergoing another kidney transplant operation. Normally, once dialysis started, minimum two to three times, dialysis treatment has to be conducted and every time, minimum four hours will consume. Due to the poor health, kidney transplant operation is very difficult, say physicians.

Now, PM Oli may face pressure from the party for resignation, say observers.
