Kathmandu, 24 October: The Nepal Army has drawn its attention on reports that dogs were used to rape girls under the NA arrest during the “people’s war” era.
Reports were published in dailies alleging the NA for sexually abusing those girls arrested by NA.
NA, in a statement, has stated that till the date, there is no such a complaint registered in the NA.
The Directorate of Public Relations of the NA has stated that even if the victim was unable to register her complaint at the NA, she could complaint to the local and international human rights organisations and media immediately.
Making public the incident only after two decades is suspicious, NA has stated.
One can doubt it could be a plan developed with ill intention to defame NA like sensitive organ of the nation.
However, NA has expressed the commitment for its full support on the fact finding investigation of the incident.
NA has also clarified that those dogs in the NA have never been trained for the use of rape.
