Kathmandu, 24 October: The Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT)has agreed to augment the wage of funeral workers by Rs 200. It has also agreed to increase the gratuity from Rs 150,000 to Rs 500,000 for the undertakers who continue to the service for at least 20 years.
Similarly, undertakers who work for at least 15 years were entitled to receive gratuity of Rs 50,000 will now get Rs. 300,000, according to PADT.
