Kathmandu, 23 October: Bangladesh has shown interest to invest in above 20 hydropower projects in Nepal. At the fourth joint secretary level Nepal-Bangladesh joint technical meeting being held in Kathmandu, the Bangladesh government has expressed the desire to invest in Nepal’s hydropower projects.
The meeting started on Tuesday is going to be concluded today.
Bangladesh government’s additional secretary, who is leading the Bangladesh delegation, has expressed the desire to invest in Nepal’s above 20 hydropower projects, reports Annapurna Post daily.
During the meeting, discussions were held on 11 issues including transportation of cargo consignment, vehicle transportation, passenger traffic, agriculture, food and trade between the two countries.
