Kathmandu, 15 October: Chinese President Xi Jinping, in his address at the banquet dinner hosted in honour of him at the Soaltee Hotel on 12 October, had mentioned about Visit Nepal Year 2020. President Xi had said, “We will encourage more and more Chinese tourists to visit Nepal in 2020”.
Along with Xi’s visit, it is expected that more Chinese tourists will come to Nepal. Furthermore, when Xi himself mentioned about encouraging Chinese to visit Nepal, it obviously gives a positive message, reports Ujyalo Online Portal.
In 2018, around 1.2 million tourists visited Nepal. During the year, above 153 thousand Chinese tourists visited Nepal, which is second largest number.
According to the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, the number of Chinese tourists visiting Nepal will reach five hundred thousand. It is reported in the Global Times Online magazine.
