Kathmandu, 15 October: Professor Dr Govinda KC, who got retirement from the TU Teaching Hospital on 14 October, has warned to launch fast onto death if the government will not fulfill his demand.
Dr KC has said that names for TU Vice Chancellor’s post were recommended on the basis of political belief and if the government will not withdraw those names, he will launch fast onto death.
KC said, he is going to launch fasting from 13 November if the government will not listen to him.
The committee coordinated by Education Minister Girirajmani Pokhrel had recommended Dr Bhagwan Koirala, Dr Dharmakant Banskota and Chandramani Poudel’s name to Prime Minister and Chancellor KP Sharma Oli.
