Kathmandu, 7 October: The Police had reached to the official residence of the Speaker at 4.45 on Sunday to arrest the then speaker Krishnabahadur Mahara with a van.
At that time, Mahara was hosting party to his relatives and the Police had to wait for him. When the Police asked to ride on the Police van, Mahara denied and said he wanted to go in his own vehicle.
Following the Kathmandu District Court’s approval, the Police had reached to the Speaker’s official residence. Mahara has not left his official residence even after his resignation.
Mahara has been kept at the Singhadurwar Police post, reports Setopati Online Portal.
