Kathmandu, 10 August : People’s representatives of Dhading and Gorkha districts have urged the government to determine compensation to the areas affected by the Budhigandaki Hydropower Project.They have urged to accelerate compensation distribution process with proper determination.
Compensations at Khahare bazaar of Dhading and Aarughat and Aarkhet bazaar of Gorkha have not been determined yet in lack of agreement over the compensation amount between the locals and government. Though the sub-committee formed under coordination of Assistant Chief District Officer of Dhading and Gorkha has already determined compensation, it has not been published yet.
