Kathmandu, 28 July : A book ‘Pararashtraka Paatra’ (Characters of Foreign Affairs ) authored by former foreign secretary Madan Kumar Bhattarai has been released.
Former Chief Justice Kalyan Shrestha released the book penned in Nepali script. Published by Kriti book publication, the book narrates around four decades experiences of Bhattarai during his diplomatic career and beyond.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Justice Shrestha and former ambassador Shankar Sharma praised Bhattarai’s narrative piece and his contribution to foreign relations.The book is priced at Rs 600 per piece. Bhattarai had served as a foreign secretary, Nepal’s ambassador to Japan and Germany.
