Kathmandu, 15 July: The investment of the the Royal Casino being operated at the premises of Hotel Yak and Yeti is dubious. Authorities have started investigation into the source of income of the investors duo Jayanti Thapa and Sunil Rayamajhi.
According to Sanghu vernacular weekly, Indian national Aashish Patel had invested in casino in the name of Jayanti Thapa and the casino ‘s ownership was transferred from Surendra Bahadur Singh to her. And the paid up capital amount Rs 250 million was not deposited at the time of ownership transfer and Rs.130 million only provided thus entering into shady deal.
