Kathmandu, 11 July: The government has revised its tourist visa fees for foreign tourists. The new tariff will come into effect from July 17, the first day of the new fiscal year.
The government on May 26 had made a decision to increase the visa fees.The Department of Immigration informs that the last time the visa charges were revised was 10 years ago.
According to the Department, there will be a nominal hike in the fee so that it would not give any negative message to the international community ahead of the Visit Nepal Year 2020.
