Over 5,000 bank accounts freezed

Kathmandu, 1 July: Tax authorities have frozen the bank accounts of around 5,000 firms and individual tax payers and prevented a number of them from travelling overseas for not clearing their tax liabilities.

According to The Kathmandu Post, it is the first time that tax payers, individuals and firms have been targeted in such a huge number.
