Kathmandu, 25June: The Government has stated that it is looking for a reliable business partner and loan to operate the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) smoothly.
Responding to questions in the House of Representatives today Finance Minister admitted that the national flag carrier has become a white elephant and a burden. He said that the Government was concerned about the NAC.
“There is no alternative to opting for long international routes,” Finance Minister Youbaraj Khatiwa stated adding, “The process has moved a bit about flying to Osaka and Tokyo of Japan, and a few Chinese destinations. Agreement for a few long routes and a few medium ones are moving forward.”
