Kathmandu, 25June: The budget for the fiscal year 2076/77 has been endorsed by the House of Representatives (HoR). It has been endorsed with majority.
The Government had presented a budget of Rs 1.532 trillion for the fiscal year 2076/77 on May 29.According to it, Rs 957.10 billion (62%) for recurrent expenditure, Rs 408.59 billion (26.6%) for capital expenditure, and Rs 167.85 billion (11%) for debt financing.
The budget plans to generate Rs 981.13 billion through revenues, Rs 57.99 billion through foreign grant and generate the remaining amount through foreign loans and domestic borrowing.
