Kathmandu, 13 June: A trekking route to the base camp of Dhaulagiri mountain has been constructed. The seventh highest mountain of the world (8,167 metres) is located at Mudi of Dhaulagiri rural municipality.
According to Gandaki state government’s Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment, repair and maintenance of the trekking route from Naurabhir to Sallaghari has been carried out and 9.4 kilometres narrow route has been widened and stone steps constructed at difficult points.
