Kathmandu, 11 June:The Government has constituted State-level tourism promotion committees in view of the Nepal Visit Year-2020.Chief Minister of the respective state is the patron of the committee to be headed by ministers for industry; tourism; forest and environment.
The committees were formed as per the decision of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation which has been looked after by Prime Minister since the demise of then Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari in last February. The committee will work for the promotion of tourism year, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation said in a press statement.
