Kathmandu, 6 June: Locals in Rajpur Municipality, Rautahat, have attacked Mayor Sheik Shakil after he refused to donate for Eid celebrations.
The locals were irked after the municipality, which offers money to local religious groups to observe different festivals. didn’t provide any monetary support for Eid celebration. local group led by Sheik Kasim beat up Mayor Sheikh Shakil after he finished his evening prayers.
