Kathmandu, 23 May: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the Ambassador of the United States of America to Nepal and sought clarification on his announcement on social media that he would interact directly with the Nepalis through the programmme ‘Rajdoot Sanga Guff Gaff’.
According to Kantipur daily, Foreign Secretary Shanakar Das Bairagi inquired about the motives of the program with Ambassador Randy Berry and urged him to refrain from such interactions. Foreign Secretary has confirmed his meeting with the US envoy but has declined to share the contents of his meetings, reports the paper.
