Kathmandu, 14 May : An agreement has been signed between Province No 3 and Lanzhou of Gansu province in China to develop relations between these two provinces at people-to-people level.
Towards this, the representatives from the sides signed an agreement to cultivate sister city relations between Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Lanzhou here today. They agreed to undertake initiatives enabling mutual benefits between the two cities at local level.
Chief Minister of Province no 3 Dormani Poudel and KMC Mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya and governor of Gansu province Tang Renjian and Deputy Chief Kaiun signed the memorandum of understanding. Lazhou is the capital city of Gansu province in northwest in China. The famous river in China Yellow River runs through the city.
