Kathmandu, 9 May: The only international airport of the country barred the inbound and outbound flights for half an hour for flight of Prime Minister Khagda Oli on Thursday.
The Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has been stopped for other flights from 11 in the morning, according to the airport administration. Secretary at the National Human Rights Commission Bed Prasad Bhattari who was flying to Kathmandu on a Buddha Air flight this morning from Pokhara has expressed grave concern over such practices in the social site. His face book status reads, “Flight Number 604, Pokhara-Kathmandu, 25 minutes flight but 45 minutes in the sky. Why so? Who is responsible ?”
