Kathmandu, 8 May: The Supreme Court has stayed the circular of the Ministry of Home Affairs to the 77 district administration offices to issue citizenship certificates by decent to children of citizens by birth.
This order has come in less than two weeks after the apex court issued an interim order to stop granting citizenship by decent to individual whose parents obtained citizenship by birth.
