Kathmandu, 15 April: Former King Gynendra Shah has expressed deep dissatisfaction over the deteriorating condition of Nepal. In a New Year’s message, while expressing health and happiness to all Nepalis, he has underscored on preservation of nationality.
“Nationality, a serious lifeline is associated with cordiality of Nepali people and our destination should be ‘we’ from ‘I’ and ‘ours’ from ‘mine’. He has cautioned that the hands that are used to build the nation should not be compelled to utilize them to save the nation.” Hinting at the current condition of Nepal he has stated that there is a high risk of mutilating national existence and we must work united.
In his message, the ex-king said, “Truth is never weak and small. It is never defeated. We wish a Nepali national should not be frightened by seeing a fellow Nepali. The rulers and administrators’ attitude and work culture be people-centric, assurances of employment to every citizen, provisioning of practical and scientific education and accessible health service be made”.
He has urged for accommodation of all in politics sphere with high held heads in pride, resolute sovereignty and non-fragmented nationality and patriotism to motherland as well as progress and prosperity.
