Kathmandu, March 17: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is starting an orientation program from today for its newly elected members of the House of Representatives.
The two-day program will brief lawmakers on parliamentary practice, policy making, how Parliament works, and the responsibilities of elected representatives. Party spokesperson Manish Jha said the session will also cover the policy direction the party plans to follow. In the House of Representatives election held on March 5, 2026, the RSP secured 182 seats under both the first past the post and proportional representation systems.
RSP General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti has already issued a six-point directive calling on all newly elected lawmakers to attend the orientation program.
