Kathmandu, Oct 4: The government has barred all vehicles from entering or leaving the Kathmandu Valley for three days, starting October 4.
In a notice released on Saturday, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) said the step was taken due to safety threats caused by continuous rainfall. The authority added that highways linking the Valley to other regions have been completely closed until conditions improve.
